I’m Koushik Das, a wedding photographer based in Kolkata, India, renowned for crafting timeless visual stories through my lens. With over seven years of experience as one of Kolkata’s most sought-after wedding photographers, I’ve had the privilege of working with esteemed organisations like Photoberry and Saurabh Rungta Photography, capturing love stories both nationally and internationally. My journey began with a Diploma in Photography from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira (Belur Math), where I graduated top of my class as a gold medalist. My work has been showcased globally, including a photo exchange program in Dhaka, Bangladesh. In 2018, I collaborated with National Geographic at their Photo Camp in Kolkata, mentored by acclaimed photographers like Matthieu Paley and Paul Salopek (two-time Pulitzer prize winner), an experience that honed my photography skills. Post that, I went on to work with organisations like The Times of India and The Quint, and later shifted completely to wedding photography and have been sponsored by companies like Sony. Specializing in wedding photography, I blend authentic, candid moments with artistic composition, delivering high-quality work on time with a distinctive narrative flair. My passion for visual storytelling ensures every wedding is transformed into a cherished, timeless memory. I am also adept at handling not only the creative but also the business side of it, and provide end-to-end service, from planning the shoot since the first day to delivering their album to their doorstep.
