My name is Andrea Balzano and I like to consider myself an aesthete.
Portraits have always been my passion.

I started my career as professional Portrait Artist with MSC Cruises in 2015, and I shot my first wedding in 2016.
Travelling with this company gave me the chance to improve my skills as photographer, but mostly to show myself that photography is my Art, in fact after one year only I won a contest with Leica Akademie in Frankfurt and became an official Leica Portrait Artist.
My job with MSC Cruises allowed me to visit more than 60 countries all over the world, travelling from the northest part of Europe to the southest part of America, getting to see different realities, to know incredibly different cultures, but mostly being able to capture them and to show the world through my eyes.

After 6 years I decided to take a break and to go back to my country, waiting for the pandemic to end.
There's no need to say that I felt in love with Italy again and decided to give it a try as a wedding photographer and Portrait Artist here as well.

I'm sure that the better way for you to understand how I see reality and I how I portrait the people I meet, is to stop talking about me and letting you browse through my portfolio.
